It’s just five weeks to go until our Summer showpiece and as I write this only 2 of the 14 teams that are currently entered have people in it from our own club! Whilst it’s great to get players from across the country into our club and our event it would be great to have more teams in from our own members.
Yes there will be some good teams in there and Yes it will cost you £10 to play but it’s such a great day of Petanque and it’s more than worth it! You’ll play 5 games and even if you lose all 4 of the first ones the last game will still have a prize on the line. There are cash prizes for gold, silver and bronze groups so wherever you find yourself in the afternoon games there is plenty to play for!
